We live in a small village in Lincolnshire near the Lincs, Notts, Leics borders close to the A1 and A46.

Livestock farming for 30 years breeding pigs, sheep and fattening cattle on 220 acres of grass and arable we were looking to diversify into something different and more child friendly that the whole family could participate in.

Having looked into owning alpacas for many years we finally took the plunge in 2005, starting with 4 young female alpacas 3 of which were pregnant. We were warned that alpacas are addictive when we first looked into buying them and this was certainly true for us, as, 9 months later we bought another10.

All our alpacas are registered with the British Alpaca Society (BAS) and are micro chipped for identification and security. All our youngsters are halter trained.
